After a winter meditation, this poem wrote itself during the free-writing session that followed.

Snow is the perfect stillness of water.

Dance, settle, surrender, flow, expand.

Dance with the turbulence,

Blowing round the birth of the storm.

Settle gently as the air becomes too heavy to resist.

Surrender to the stillness, the darkness, the silence of

Solitude surrounded in a blanket of Others

Quiet in their own depth.

For in time, you will melt, and then

Flow effortlessly

Into Earth herself, among Rumi’s riotous roots,

Transforming, manifesting, connecting.

At Ostara's rejoice, you will rise into the Golden Mist and

Expand into your Infinite, Divine purpose.
